Coffee Lounge Membership Do’s & Don’ts

Your membership gives you access to the site between the hours of 8.30am - 6pm Monday-Friday, if you have a full time access you can use the space during this period, if you have part-time access then it is either mornings or afternoons.

You do not have permission to be at the site after these hours, if you are you will be asked to leave or upgrade to a package that allows out-of-hours access.

You can access the coffee lounge area at each site as indicated below and shown to you by a member of the team:

LEIGH ROAD - Basement desk area, ground floor high bench*

NELSON STREET - Breakout area at top of stairs on the first floor*

RAYLEIGH - Reception area breakout space*

*We do allow the use of the coworking desk areas at each site if they are vacant, with the understanding that daily desk hirers have priority over the desks and coworking space.

The membership is for you only and not to be shared, permission is given only to the person listed on the membership, any other person using the space not authorised to do so will be asked to leave or pay for daily hire.

You can use the facilities such as the kitchen, toilets and break out spaces and the refreshments provided.

The meeting rooms are bookable via the website, they cannot be used without being booked. (Rayleigh space has a telephone booth room, this CAN be used for calls with your membership)

Should you wish to conduct a meeting with guests, please book the meeting room and inform reception of the number of guests you have attending.

For the comfort and working pleasure of all members of space282 the following considerations are asked by all using the space:

  • Remember its a professional environment and respect other people’s workspace

  • Refrain from loud talking on the phone or in person, should you need to book the meeting room or use the phone booth

  • Use headphones, do not have music, videos or conference calls on loudspeaker.

  • Keep the space clean and tidy up after yourself

  • Desk is to be cleared at the end of each day, no personal items can be stored on site
