“I had always been an advocate for remote working and was fortunate to have a space at home that I quickly set about turning into a home office. It soon became apparent that the reality of working from home with my then 18-month-old son, a Labradoodle that thinks he’s a Rottweiler and a procession of deliveries dropped off by drivers with levels of persistence akin to bailiffs, was not exactly what I had imagined.”
John managed to work from home for a grand total of 4 weeks.

“I had walked past space282’s Leigh Road site a number of times, often using the reflective glass to check my hair or make sure I didn’t have anything in my teeth but wasn’t aware it was a co-working space until I jumped on Google and quickly found their number in the search results. After a 15-minute chat with the team there, who took the time to answer a fairly comprehensive list of questions, I was viewing the space within the hour and had signed up for a permanent desk the very same day.”
